Import your photos and let the AI prepare the listing

Upload your photos, choose one item, several or a bundle, check the grouping and start the AI analysis. What a credit pays for, and how many photos per import.

Everything starts with photos. You upload them from the “Import items” screen, the AI looks at them and prepares one listing per item: title, description, category, brand, size, condition, colour, material and price. Nothing is sent to Vinted at this stage.

1. Say what you are adding

The first question is “What do you want to publish?” Your answer changes the rest of the screen, so it deserves a second's thought.

  • “I'm adding 1 item”: all the photos show the same piece of clothing, from several angles, with its label and its details.
  • “I'm adding multiple items”: you upload photos of several pieces of clothing in one go, and the AI sorts them by item.
  • “I'm adding a bundle”: several children's or baby clothes sold together, in a single listing.

You are not locked into this choice. If you picked “I'm adding 1 item” and the photos clearly show several, the screen offers you “Switch to multi-item mode”.

2. Upload your photos

Drop your files into the “Drag and drop or click to import” area, or click to open your computer's file picker. The accepted formats are shown under the area: “JPG, PNG, WebP”, with a maximum size per photo.

The number of photos received is shown straight away. If it is not the number you expected, select them again: the cause is almost always a photo still greyed out in the picker.

Photos taken with an iPhone

Apple's HEIC files are converted to JPEG directly in your browser, without going through our servers. Depending on their size, this takes a few seconds.

If your photos are stored in iCloud rather than on the device, wait for them to finish downloading in the picker before confirming, otherwise they arrive empty.

3. Check the grouping

This step only appears if you chose “I'm adding multiple items”. The AI sorts the photos by item and shows the result under the heading “Photos sorted by AI”.

Photos it is unsure about are flagged at the top of the screen. Select them and move them to the right item: otherwise, each one becomes a separate item, and uses a credit for nothing.

This is the time to correct things, not after the analysis: a photo moved now costs nothing, whereas an item analysed by mistake has already used its credit.

4. Add some context

For a single item or a bundle, the screen lets you write what the photos do not show: a brand that is hard to read on the label, a material, a flaw, a fit. It is optional: the “Skip” button takes you straight past this step.

The “Generation template” field chooses how the AI writes: the tone of a luxury listing is not that of an everyday piece of clothing. You can create a new template without leaving the screen.

5. Start the analysis

The “Analyse with AI” button starts the work. The screen shows the progress item by item, then “Matching categories…”: at that point, each item is matched to the exact Vinted category that fits it.

At the end, you reach the “Review” step, which lists your items and the number of fields to review on each. Nothing is published: the next part happens in Review and correct a listing.

Confirm your email address first

AI analysis is only available to accounts whose email address is confirmed. If you have not done so yet, open the link you received by email in a NEW tab: the import screen keeps your photos as long as you do not leave it.

What the analysis uses

One credit covers the analysis of one item. Ten items analysed, ten credits. Publishing the item afterwards, editing it, reposting it or deleting it uses none: the credit pays for the AI reading the photos, once only.

The Free plan grants ten, once and for all. Paid plans grant credits every month: 60 on Starter, 200 on Pro, 600 on Business.

If you do not have enough, Pikmatic does not start anything silently. A “Not enough credits” window gives you three options: analyse only the first items, buy credits, or go back and remove some items.

How many photos at once

The number of photos per import depends on your plan: 15 on the Free plan, 30 on Starter, 100 on Pro and Business. Beyond that, the extra photos are not kept, and the screen tells you how many.

This is not a limit on the number of items you can sell, only on the size of one upload. Nothing stops you from running several imports one after another.
