Schedule your listings
Choose when a listing goes live, schedule several items at once, change or cancel a scheduled publish, and why the actual time depends on your browser.
Prepare your listings on Sunday evening and have them go live on Tuesday at noon: that is what scheduling lets you do. You choose the date and time, and Pikmatic takes care of the rest.
What it is for
The moment a listing appears matters on Vinted: a listing published when nobody is looking slides down the feed before it has been seen. That does not mean you have to be in front of your screen at that moment.
Scheduling separates two things that publishing straight away lumps together: the preparation work, which you do when you have the time, and going live, which happens at the time you have chosen.
Which plans include it
Scheduled publishing is available from the Pro plan upwards. On the Free and Starter plans, publishing stays immediate.
Not to be confused with recurring automatic reposting, which is reserved for the Business plan: that one brings a listing that is already live back to the top, at regular intervals. It is described in Repost your listings.
Schedule a publish
Everything happens from the “Schedule” screen.
- Click “+ Add”. The “Schedule a publish” window opens.
- Choose the item. The search field saves you scrolling through the whole list.
- Choose the mode: “Publish” makes the listing live, “Draft” creates a draft on your Vinted account at the set time.
- Set the date and time. Shortcuts save you typing for the most common cases.
- Confirm with “Schedule”.
The date must be in the future: the screen rejects a time that has already passed rather than publishing straight away without telling you.
Schedule several items
Select several items and schedule them in one go. You then only set the “First publish”: the following ones are spread out over time automatically, rather than all arriving in the same second.
At the end, the screen tells you how many items were scheduled and how many were skipped. An item is skipped when it cannot be published as it stands, because it lacks a piece of information Vinted requires: go back to it in Review and correct a listing.
Change or cancel
As long as a publish has not gone out, it has the status “Scheduled” and two actions: “Change time” and “Cancel scheduled publish”.
While it is being sent, the status changes to “In progress” and the time can no longer be changed. Cancelling at that point would make no sense: the listing is already being posted on Vinted.
Cancelling does not delete the item
Cancelling a scheduled publish only removes the scheduled slot. The item stays in your imported items, with its photos and its text, ready to be published or rescheduled.
Follow your scheduled publishes
The “Schedule” screen brings together scheduled publishes and upcoming reposts. Each row shows the item, the planned date and the status.
Dates coming up soon are shown in words rather than as a full date, so you can see at a glance what goes out today and what goes out tomorrow.
