Pikmatic

Quick start

Create your account, install the Chrome extension, link it with a code and log in to Vinted in the same browser.

1. Create your account

Pikmatic comes in two parts: a dashboard, where you prepare your listings, and a Chrome extension, which publishes them on Vinted from your own browser. Both share the same account.

Create your account with the “Create an account” button on this page. You will then receive a verification email: open the link it contains before moving on, as linking the extension requires it.

What the free plan gives you

The Free plan grants 10 credits, once only, with no renewal. One credit covers the AI analysis of one item. Publishing or reposting an item that has already been analysed uses none.

2. Install the Chrome extension

The extension is installed from the Chrome Web Store. It only works on Google Chrome.

The dashboard, on the other hand, opens in any browser and on a phone. Chrome is only needed for the extension.

3. Link the extension to your account

Linking connects the extension installed in your browser to your Pikmatic account. You only do it once.

  1. In the dashboard, open “Settings”, then the “Extension” tab.
  2. First answer the question “Which Vinted do you sell on?”: it sets the country of the account.
  3. Click “Generate code”. An eight-character code appears, valid for five minutes.
  4. Open the extension window in Chrome and enter this code.
  5. The dashboard then shows “Extension linked”.

The code has expired

Generate a new one from the same screen. The number of codes is limited over a window of a few minutes; if you reach that limit, the message shown tells you how long to wait.

4. Log in to Vinted

Pikmatic publishes from your browser, using your own Vinted session. So log in to your Vinted account in the browser where the extension is installed, just as you normally would.

There is nothing else to do: the extension recognises the active Vinted account and passes it on to Pikmatic, usually within ten minutes or so. The account then appears in the dashboard header and on the “My Vinted accounts” page.

Pikmatic does not know your Vinted password

You log in on the Vinted website, as usual. Pikmatic never sees your login details: the extension uses the session already open in your browser.

5. Publish your first listing

  1. From the dashboard, click “New listing”.
  2. Drop in the photos of the item. Label photos (brand, composition, size) help the AI and are not published in the listing.
  3. The AI analyses the photos and fills in the fields: title, description, category, brand, size, condition, price. This analysis costs one credit per item.
  4. Review and correct. Every field stays editable until you publish.
  5. Publish, with “Publish (draft)” or “Publish”.

Start with a draft

“Publish (draft)” creates the listing on Vinted without making it visible: you check it on Vinted, then publish it yourself. This is the recommended mode for your first items.

Chrome must stay open

It is the extension, in Chrome, that publishes. If Chrome is closed or the computer is asleep, publishes stay in the queue and resume on their own once Chrome is running again. Nothing is lost.

Check that everything is in place

  • Your email address is verified.
  • The Pikmatic extension is installed in Chrome, and the dashboard shows “Extension linked”.
  • You are logged in to your Vinted account in that same browser, and the account appears in the dashboard header.
  • Chrome is open when you publish.

If any of these is missing, the Troubleshooting page tells you what to check, and in what order.
